Next to Remo Stars in terms of number of players supplied to the national team are Ikorodu United, which narrowly missed out in the struggle for the CAF Confederation Cup ticket, and Rivers United.
Both clubs have three players in Chelle’s squad. They are Ikorodu City’s defenders Uzondu Harrison and Ngengen Leonard, as well as Shola Adelani, a striker.

CAF Launches CHAN 2024 Campaign with “PAMOJA” Theme, Unveils Downloadable Official Poster

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially launched the campaign for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), unveiling the tournament’s official poster and rallying theme, “PAMOJA,” in a high-profile rollout across its digital and broadcast platforms.
Scheduled to take place from August 2 to 30, 2025, CHAN 2024 will make history as the first continental football event to be co-hosted by three East African nations—Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
The collaboration marks a significant milestone in regional unity and football development on the continent.
At the heart of the campaign is the Swahili word PAMOJA, which translates to “unity.” CAF describes the theme as more than just a slogan—it is a powerful expression of the spirit of togetherness, harmony, and shared ambition that African football represents. The concept reinforces values such as teamwork, solidarity, and collective pride, central to both the sport and African identity.
The newly revealed poster visually captures the vibrancy and energy of African football, adorned with bold motifs and iconic East African landmarks.
From majestic landscapes to cultural symbols, the design brings to life the essence of PAMOJA, celebrating both regional heritage and continental unity.
CHAN, distinct from the Africa Cup of Nations, is exclusively reserved for players active in their respective domestic leagues, spotlighting homegrown talent and providing a platform for emerging stars across Africa.
CAF has announced that the PAMOJA campaign will extend across various media and community platforms, including fan engagement events, digital storytelling, and grassroots football programs.
These initiatives aim to deepen the connection between the tournament and communities across the continent, reinforcing CHAN as a celebration of Africa’s rich footballing ecosystem.
As anticipation builds for CHAN 2024, CAF says the campaign will reflect not just a tournament, but a movement that unites a continent through football.
