Sometimes, Mr Dalung makes comments that appear to besmirch his legal education and the Presidency that he represents.
This is a matter that had to do with International relations and these comments from him would do very little to help.

If it came from the athletes team captain or the AFN President or anyone else, it would be better accepted than from the man who represents the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on matters of Youth and Sports! The Nigerian Sports Minister should be involved in diplomatically resolving these matters and media publicity isn't usually the best of ways to handling this.

The Britons, like he himself alluded, may not care about this news report. Our Nigerian unwholesome travel and comportment history overseas is evidently an integral part of the reasons behind the visa denial.

This media hugging in clearing the matters wouldn't help our situation, certainly. At some point in our history, Nigerians barely needed visas to go to England! What went wrong is where we should begin to tackle matters.
